Field Day 2008 will be at the beautiful Veterans Park in Arlington, TX. STUDENTS SHOULD BE DROPPED OFF AT 8AM AT VETERANS PARK and will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. by their classroom teacher/coach. If your child does not turn in a permission slip by Friday, May 9, 2008, they will be given work to be completed at ACA. Who: All ACA Students, Teachers, Staff, and Parents What: 2008 Field Day When: May 16, 2007, 8 am – 1:30 pm (sharp) Where: Veterans Park Special Instructions: • DROP OFF AND PICK UP STUDENTS AT VETERAN’S PARK, NOT THE SCHOOL. • We will not have lunch at the park. • Students should wear appropriate shorts, field day t-shirt, and tennis shoes (no sandals). Ball caps, visors, and sunglasses are permitted. • Bring the following: bottle of water, heavy snack, a towel to sit on, sun screen, bug repellant. The student is responsible for keeping up with those articles; a small tote bag will help. There will be Homework and Health on Friday, May 16, but parents are responsible for transporting ACA students to the school after Field Day. Volunteers Needed!
